These Indian companies will be closed down
Five Public Sector Undertakings(PSUs) will be closed down by
government. There were 65 units in list of sick PSUs as of March 31 ast year.MTNL,HMT,AIRINDIA,Hindustan Shipyard are most loss making PSUs.
AIR INDIA losses Rs.5338 crores in 2013-14,Rs.5490 crores in 2012-2013 and Rs.7559 crores in 2011-12 years.
MTNL profit is Rs.7820 crore in 13-14 but losses of Rs.5321 crore and Rs. 4109 crore previous years.
Hindustan Shipyard Limited posted loss worth around Rs.1873 crores for last 3 years.
MTNL down 19% and HMT down 13% today .
